Warranties & Policies

Columbia used auto parts guarantee that all parts are serviceable and functional. If a part(s) is found to be defective within 30 days of the invoice date we will at our discretion provide either a replacement part or a refund. Parts which are not defective that are returned will be subject to a 25% restocking fee. All returned parts must be returned with the receipt.

The warranty shall be void if the parts are not returned to us in the same condition in which they where sold. We shall not be responsible for any parts which have been altered, modified, disassembled, or damaged by misuse or accident subsequent to purchase. All parts are guaranteed for stocked items only, no warranty on specialized ordered items.

Seller is not responsible for or liable for any incidental or consequential loss or damages. Seller is not responsible if a customer orders the wrong part. If you buy a part you do not need we are sorry but now you have a spare.

No warranties on seals, gaskets, fluids, or coolants.

No warranty on reimbursements will be given for delay, labor, mileage or any other costs in installing or reinstalling a part under any circumstances.
All sheet metal, glass and body parts are sold as is.

Special orders are not refundable. A 50% deposit will be needed to be paid in advance before items are ordered from other sources. These special order deposits are not refundable.

Seller is not responsible for delays in ups or freight shipments. Freight delivery is beyond sellers control.

Engine Warranty

Used engines are guaranteed not to have a cracked block, head or bad crankshaft. Parts external to the cylinder block: ac compressor, power steering pump, belt tensioner pulley, starter, distributor, throttle body, sensors, wiring harness, alternator, injectors, harmonic balancer are not warrantied. Overheating voids all warranty. Used engines are guaranteed against rod knock, excessive smoking and excessive oil consumption. It is recommended the buyer replace the rear main seal, inspect gaskets, and replace timing chain or belt if applicable, prior to installation.

Transmission Warranty

We suggest that you replace the front seal prior to installing your transmission. Improper detent adjustment, low fluid level, failure to install new filter, broken front pump, or improper installation voids the warranty. No exceptions!!!

If the vehicle is equipped with a transmission cooler, the system must be flushed and cleaned prior to installation or the warranty is void. If a transmission cooler is included in the purchase, it must be installed or the warranty is void. The mechanic or repair shop must use manufacturer recommended fluid in the transmission. If a low grade or mineral based fluid is used instead, and the transmission develops a problem, we will not replace the transmission under warranty.

Overheating voids the warranty on transmissions.

Electrical Warranty

Comes with no warranty.
